Small Basket From Occupied Japan 40's -60's

This basket measures about 6 1/2" from end to end and stands about 4 1/2" high. The handle has gold gilding with circular holes that are decorated. It has a half green wreath mark with an H inside. The name Hohutoska is written outside the wreath as well as Made in Occupied Japan/Hand Painted. The outside painting resembles a Ukrainian egg decoration.
