Royal Staffordshire 1795 Jenny Lind Tea Set

This is a gorgeous Royal Staffordshire Jenny Lind 1795 tea set in brown and multi-color. The pattern was originated and made for the famous opera star, Jenny Lind, by Arthur J. Wilkinson. This old original pattern has a yellowish glaze, and features dark brown floral nut trim with a castle and people scene in multicolor hand painted accents. Transfer printing was introduced by the Worcester Porcelain Company in the 1750s. This piece is very special, and in mint condition. The set includes 4 tea cups, 4- 5 3/4" round saucers, 4-6 1/2" x 5 1/2" rectangular luncheon plates, creamer, and sugar bowl. The shape of the tea cups is unique and I have not been able to find a set like this anywhere. The bottom is stamped with the Reg. No. 784849. I have more images available which show more detail.
